Taste and See
Indonesia is an amazing land of 250 million people. They inhabit massive cities as well as tiny communities scattered over thousands of remote islands.
In recent years God has poured out His Spirit in the furthest reaches of this Island nation. Many thousands have encountered God and many more have been healed, set free and delivered. A revival is gathering momentum in Indonesia.
This documentary, by South Australian film-maker Mark-John Winter, explores the recent outpouring of “Revival Fire” in Indonesia. It follows a mission team into the remote areas of West Papua and captures the impact of the powerful but simple message of the Father’s love.
It examines the questions “Why is this happening now?”, “Why is this happening in Indonesia?” and “How can this happen in my part of the world?”

About The Director
Director: Mark-John Winter
With a background in corporate video and TV commercials this is Mark-John’s first feature film. Based in Adelaide South Australia, his boutique production house, Winter Wonderland Productions, has built a reputation for powerful and persuasive story-telling.
My first feature film documentary came out of left field… a simple invitation to come and see what God was doing in remote areas of Indonesia. And as I witnessed the outpouring for myself and saw the earnestness of the believers in West Papua, I realised this was not a story that had to be written… it was a story that had to be told.
This is their story.
I hope you enjoy “Taste and See”.
