Suddenly the Sunrise

Dafne, deep in despair after losing her husband, Babel, wakes up one day to find Babel's spirit in the kitchen. He prepares a meal for her, and spends the evening trying to remind her that life is still worth living and that she must not give up. When Dafne lists the many tragedies that have befallen her, Babel responds: “After the night, there is always a sunrise.� In the end, Babel is called back to heaven, but he gives Dafne a renewed sense of hope and faith in the beauty of human life.
