Joseph Campo

Joseph Campo is CEO of Grassroots Films, Inc. and Executive Producer of God In the Streets of New York City, Fishers of Men, and the award-winning documentary, The Human Experience. A native of Long Island, Campo developed an interest in photography early on. His passion for art matured into a career in filmmaking as a producer, cinematographer, and still photographer. Campo has also served as the director of the St. Francis House for over 20 years, a group home for young men in need of a second chance in life. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.



Francisco H. Castillo

Director of Campus Ministry and former department chairperson of the Theology Department, Frank teaches Philosophy and Film Appreciation at Archbishop McCarthy High School in Southwest Ranches. He also serves as adjunct professor in the Social and Behavioral Sciences at Broward College where he teaches Introduction to Religious Studies and World Religions. He is currently working on developing a syllabus for a course entitled Film, Religion and Society. He has a degree in Theology from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary, and he is a doctoral candidate for the Doctor of Ministry Program from Barry University.



Myrna Easom

Co-author of Serving Learning Disabled Students in Christian Schools, resides in the Redlands, near Homestead, Florida. As a private, educational consultant, she has devoted her life’s work to helping students, parents and children appreciate that all children can learn and are equipped with God given gifts to succeed in life. Her greatest source of inspiration is from the scripture, Psalm, 139: 14,”I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”.




Carla Forte

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Carla Forte, a Dancer, Writer and Director, began her career as an artist and graduated from the National Experimental University of Arts in Caracas, Venezuela (2004). Later, Carla won a scholarship from the IUNA Education Plan (National Art Institute) Buenos Aires, Argentina. Co-founder of Trimedia Films, she has worked as Scriptwriter, Director and Producer.

Her Filmography includes: Bloodbath Test (Best Script, New York 2009) and Urban Stories (Miami, Florida 2010). Carla is also a performer and Assistant Director of the company Ere. Bistoury (Physical Theater) directed by Alexey Taran.

Kelly Gallagher

Kelly Gallagher is a recent graduate of Benedictine College in Atchison Kansas, where he graduated cum laude with degrees in Theology and Philosophy. He was awarded the St. Anselm Award for Excellence in Theology, the Thomas Aquinas Award for Excellence in Philosophy, and was named a Discovery scholar for his research on developing original beer recipes. While at Benedictine he helped start a film club where, every Sunday night, he and other students would go to the head of the theology department’s house to watch a foreign film and discuss it. He currently works as a youth minister in Denver, CO and plans to pursue a PhD in philosophy to teach at the collegiate level. He has a slight obsession with the film “The Lives of Others” (German) and wrote a paper on it for one if his courses that put it in dialogue with Pope Benedict’s Encyclical Deus Caritas Est – God is Love.

Bill Harvelle

FIU Campus Minister and lifelong lover of film, Bill has moderated and helped continue Faith & Film, a series he created for FIU University Park Campus five years ago. Bill has collaborated with the Daughters of St. Paul and film/TV columnist and author Sister Rose Pacette (founding director of the Pauline Center for Media Studies) who gave her presentation Cinema Divina: Breaking open the Word through Cinema and Movies for FIU Campus Ministry.




Noreen Legault-Mendoza

Founding Director of the SOUTH BEACH INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION FESTIVAL, Noreen is also the past president of the local chapter of Women of the Motion Picture Industry, WOMPI. A graduate of the New York University Tisch School of Arts, and a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Noreen’s work in the community has involved organizing events and fund raisers to help others. Noreen is now turning her energy into producing a new event, ADAM & EVE, Miami.



Joseph McClane

Joe McClane is the host of the “Behold The Man”, and co-host of “Finding Your Keys” radio shows, as well as an a Catholic New Media producer & Evangelist. He also coordinates Catholic family conferences full time for Fullness of Truth Catholic Evangelization Ministries in Houston TX. He is married to his lovely wife Michelle and they have four children. Joe grew up in the Church of Christ but fell away and became agnostic in his teens. He joined the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil of 1999 and was married, to his lovely wife Michelle, in September of 2000. Joe attributes his full conversion to a spring day in 2002 when he got on his knees and “let go and let God”. Joe’s journey went into hyper drive at that point and he’s been in love with the Catholic faith ever since. He & his wife are devout practicing Catholics who are excited to share the treasure they “found in a field” with the whole world

David Ranghelli

Mr. Ranghelli is a New York based filmmaker who has worked in the cinema arts for over a decade on numerous dramatic, commercial, and documentary projects. In that time he has worked for David Gruben Productions, HBO, PBS, Bill Moyers - Public Affairs Television, NFL Films, and National Geographic to name a few. He has a BA in Fine Arts from St. Johns University (1991) and an MA in Journalism and Cinematography from New York University (2000). In May of 2000 he was awarded a Jesse Ball DuPont Fellowship in Community Outreach through Auburn University. His documentary film credits include: The Rural Studio (Cinematographer/Co-Producer) www.ruralstudiofilm.com a film that features the innovative and progressive work of a unique architecture program created by the late McArthur Fellow, Prof. Samuel Mockbee. The film has been shown on PBS nationwide; has played at numerous festivals, winning first prize at the 2003 Barcelona International FilmFest; and was a featured media installation at the Whitney Museum's 2002 Biennial Celebration. The Calling is his directorial debut.


Christina Santacruz

An Award-Winning filmmaker, Christina has directed and produced over thirty films; many of those films include Edge of the Ice, Sam Rivers and the Rivbea Orchestra, Children of the Night, Night Light, No Air House (Slam Dance Official Selection), and Best Kept (Winner of 2010 Miami Life Award). Her most recent film "March 31" won 1st place at the Ybor Film Festival of the Moving Image for best student film and screened at the following festivals - Brouhaha Film and Video Showcase, Dances With Films (West Coast Premiere In Hollywood, CA), Atlanta Shortsfest, and Orlando Film Festival. Christina earned her Bachelor in Fine Arts in Film Production at the University of Central Florida. She has taught various courses at New York Film Academy; teaching students the art of filmmaking and working with actors. She is currently in post-production of her next film "Gorgeous Media" and is in production of her next producing films "Fun World" and "Seance."

Sarah Schwartz-Cuscutis

With a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications from Boston University and a Master of Education degree from Harvard University, Sarah has been in the education and media fields for almost 20 years, and worked with the Miami Children’s Museum for 6 years. Sarah founded a digital art program for inner-city students, managed the Miami Children’s Film Festival, and founded and co-taught a series of film classes for elementary school students.




Cecilia Soñé

Cecilia Soñé is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is presently a nursing instructor At Keiser University and has trained at the Pope Paul VI Institute in the Creighton Model of Fertility Care. In 2005 she completed an intensive summer course at Athenaeum Pontificium Regina Apostolorum on Bioethics in Rome, Italy. She has given presentations to home educators, Catholic schools, and retreats for engaged and married couples regarding life issues and family life. She is a widow with three children, Daniel, Gabriel, and Maria Isabel and continues to home-school her youngest.



Chaille Stoval

At the age of 12, this award winning documentary film maker made his first feature length documentary film, Party Animals; or, 10 easy steps to get to the White House), which aired on HBO as an election night special in 2001. He was named one of Teen People Magazine’s 20 teens who will change the World in 2006, and has won over 20 awards for his films. His works have covered diverse subjects: Boys dancing ballet, the AIDS epidemic, and the Elderly. As a young director, he explored the nature of God in two of his films: “Looking 4 God,” a 10-year-old’s quest to find the true nature of God, and “Little Monk” filmed on location in India. His films have allowed him the opportunity to interview many world and religious leaders. Today, Chaille focuses his energies on his studies at Florida International University. He works on his own films and as a cameraman for other production companies in his spare time. .

Mario Xavier

Mario Xavier has served on the production staff of such shows as Burn Notice and A&E's The Glades as well as such movies as Marley and Me and Away We Go. Mario has also acted and directed in several award winning short subject movies including Best Kept and My Lucky Stars. He studied theatre at both New World School of the Arts and Florida International University. Additionally he is the company manager and performer with the non-for-profit group Shakespeare Miami.
