Final Meeting

While the “prayer meetings” started out between the Directors only, when they decided to open it up to family, friends, and the rest of their community, people were thrilled to join the cause and be a part of the miracle. And when October came, the Directors noticed something quite peculiar in their calendars… the Wednesday night before their Opening Night Event on October 29th was the last Wednesday of the month. Surely, they were being called to close their preparation period with prayer while kicking off the innaugural festivities by entrusting their hard work to God.

On October 28th, 2009– the Final Prayer Meeting was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was open to people from all of the South Florida community as they united with the organizers in laying the festival’s mission at the foot of the atar.

The final prayer consisted of Praise & Worship and a Rosary led by J. Omar Castro-- Hollywood Actor and "Rosary Star"

Following the Rosary and Jay’s testimony, guests were invited to pray, write prayer requests, and pray with a First Class Relic of John Paul II 

After prayer, guests were excited to socialize, purchase tickets & JP2IFF gear, and hang with our special guests J. Omar and our JP2 Relic

We thank our community from the bottom of our hearts for lending a hand, attending the films, and most importantly, for keeping our mission in their prayers. We asked, and He led us to success!
